Holly grew up in South Africa before going to study in London. She returned to her home country, where she now reports for a financial news wire. Her freelance work focuses on the link between space and psychology, with economic undercurrents. She has written about urban development, housing and gentrification for Time Out and The Slice, interned at PA Media, Sky News and Al Jazeera, alongside filming a short documentary. Currently, she is focused on writing more about South Africa, a place she loves, where she dreams there will one day be more trains.
She has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and a master’s in broadcast journalism.
